This tightly packed toucha resembles a tiny birds nest. The first steeping, after a brief rinse in boiling water, of about 5 min. will allow it to open up beautifully. This tea can be steeped up to 5 or 6 times at five minutes each after the first steeping.
This beautiful tea opens up and changes with each steeping – giving out a variety of nuanced flavors from gamy, to robust, to subtle.
