Hei Cha/Dark tea (Oxidized and Post-Fermented)
Produced using oxidized tea leaves that undergo the wo dui process which exposes the leaf to high humidity over a specified period of time. This wet or rapid fermentation process is highly controlled in the tea factory. Pu-erh, Liu An and Liu bao, are just a few of the different dark teas. Each dark tea is associated with a particular origin in China and is not produced anywhere else.
